Printing and/or encoding jobs are never lost in case of error: the recovery system automatically resends pending jobs. Ergonomic: The Evolis Pebble 4 card printer has a clamshell opening that allows easy and fast access to all the printer functions: ribbon installation, cleaning, card thickness. The detachable card feeder on the Evolis Pebble 4 (also available as a printer accessory) allows you to stock several feeders with different card backgrounds and/or thicknesses, according to your needs, or simply to avoid stopping production by changing an empty feeder for a full one.
Smart & Simple To Use: The Evolis Pebble 4 card printer comes standard with a Windows driver which features a monitor port function which informs the user via the computer that an intervention on the printer is needed (card feeder empty, end of ribbon, printer cleaning, etc.). The standard USB and parallel Centronics ports make the printer plug-and-play. And to make life even simpler, we have included all the cables in the packaging.
Flexible: The Evolis Pebble 4 can be field upgraded with a dual HiCo/LoCo magnetic stripe encoder.
Economical: The Evolis Pebble 4 card printer is equipped with the Evolis Pebble 4 Ribbon Saver for monochrome printing. With this system, you only use the ribbon length that corresponds to the length of the image to be printed. This feature allows you to double and even triple the capacity of your monochrome ribbons and to reduce the cost of each card - a feature unique to the Evolis Pebble 4 card printer. The Evolis Pebble 4 also offers a Half-Panel Color Ribbon range, 42% cheaper than the standard color ribbons for all your card printing with ID pictures.
eMedia Standard ID software: eMedia is a free addition to the Evolis Pebble 4 card printer. eMedia the perfect tool for graphic, magnetic, and electronic personalization of plastic cards. eMedia facilitates the creation and printing of all your cards: company badges, business cards, membership cards, loyalty cards etc, and gives you the possibility to build a source of different card layouts instantly.
MAC Support: The Evolis Pebble 4 card printer is compatible with nearly any software OS as it is delivered with drivers for Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP Vista OR Mac OS X v10.2/10.3 and 10.4 and Linux.
The Pebble 4 Mac is compatible with Postscript and non-Postscript software and also supports Ghostscript, a utility which is capable of converting vector images into bitmap (.bmp)
