Current Zebra Hardware

Printer Options for Your Event Environment

Printer requirements can vary based on your Cvent configuration, badge format, connection method, and event setup. Barcode Factory can help select current Zebra hardware rather than relying on discontinued printer models from older Cvent documentation.

Choose the Right Setup

Build Your Event Printing Station Around Your Needs

Every event is different. The right printer setup depends on attendee volume, registration layout, badge size, mobility requirements, and how your Cvent environment is configured.

Fixed Registration Desk

Use a desktop printer at a dedicated registration station when badge printing will happen from a consistent location.

Mobile Check-In

Use portable printing hardware when registration staff need to move around a venue or support distributed check-in locations.

Large-Scale Events

Deploy multiple printer stations and appropriate badge supplies when several check-in points need to operate simultaneously.

What Changed From the Old Printer List?

The original version of this page listed a number of Zebra models that are now legacy or discontinued products. Rather than continuing to advertise those models, this page focuses on current hardware.

  • ZD500 → replaced by the Zebra ZD621 family
  • QLn220 / QLn320 / QLn420 → replaced by the ZQ600 family
  • Older iMZ models are no longer appropriate as current recommendations
  • Older ZT200-series models should not be presented as new solutions

Connectivity Matters

The connection method is just as important as the printer model. USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, iOS, Android, and desktop configurations can have different requirements depending on the Cvent workflow being used.

Before purchasing, we recommend confirming the exact Cvent configuration and device combination so the printer and connection method are matched correctly.
