The ruggedness of the Alpha-30R meets MIL-STD-810 military-grade standards for drop and vehicle vibrations. It has an IP54 rating and will withstand a 2.1 m drop and a 1.0 m tumble. While the protective case allows it to withstand a 2.5 m drop in a harsh environment.
