XyliTUFF labels are ultra-resistant to xylene and chemicals, designed for a wide range of applications. They offer long-term resistance to common organic solvents, industrial thinners, flux, oils, grease, degreasers, gasoline, and other chemicals.
Featuring a permanent chemical-resistant adhesive, these labels maintain their adhesion in even the harshest environments. Suitable for flat surfaces, they can endure immersion in xylene for up to 15 hours on a microscope slide (thorough testing in end-user application conditions is recommended). XyliTUFF labels also resist long-term exposure to safer clearing and deparaffinizing Xylene substitutes like EZ Prep, Clearify, Histo-Clear, Formula 83, Pro-Par, and others.
In addition, they are resistant to gas sterilization with ethylene oxide (759 mg/L for 1 hour, at 55°C and 40-80% relative humidity) and can withstand continuous wiping and rubbing with sanitizing wipes such as Sani-Wipe, Eco-Wipe, and Eco-Wipe Duo.
Compatible with all major thermal-transfer barcode printers, these chemical-resistant labels can be printed with alphanumeric text, 1D and 2D barcodes, and serialized numbers using our recommended XAR-class chemical-resistant ribbons.
