Privacy:

At Paragon, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders only. We will not send unsolicited mail or email, unless requested by you, our customer. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

How does Paragon Print Systems, Inc., protect customer information? When you place orders or access your account information, we use a secure server. The secure server software (Using Secure Socket Layer, or "SSL") encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

Warranty:

All the equipment we sell carries the manufacturers' original warranty. When you receive your equipment, save the Warranty, your invoice and other documentation. Please also save all original packaging. All Original Packaging and all materials that were included with the product, must be returned. The product must be returned in new condition to receive a refund. All returns require a return Authorization Number, (RMA), prior to returning the product.

Software that is opened is non-returnable.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, PARAGON PRINT SYSTEMS, INC. ONLY PASSES ON THE MANUFACTURER'S ORIGINAL WARRANTY TO YOU AND DOES NOT PROVIDE ADDITIONAL WARRANTY PROTECTION.

If adjustments or repair are required, please follow the instructions given by the manufacturer of the equipment in the printed material that came with the equipment. You will need to provide proof of purchase, model, serial number and a statement as to the problem. Then return the equipment prepaid to the service depot indicated. You may contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-237-8525 or “service@barcodefactory.com” if you need help with this process. Unless otherwise stated, the warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or material that may impair the equipment's performance. No warranty is given to normal wear items such as batteries, ribbons, print heads, cards, and other normal wear items as determined by the service facility. Damage that is considered as abuse by the manufacturer is not covered under the warranty.

Paragon Print Systems, Inc., The Barcode Factory will warranty damage during shipment provided the damage is noted when the product is received. It is your responsibility to inspect the package for visible damage prior to accepting delivery and noting such damage on the waybill. If the goods are damaged in the package upon arrival, a claim needs to be filed will the carrier usually within two working days after opening the package. Please let us know immediately if the goods arrived damaged. If damage caused from a shipper is not noted immediately, Paragon will not be held responsible for the damage.

No warranty is given for damages caused by external wiring indicating improper connection to power supply or line wiring, or for damages caused by spikes, power surges, brown outs, lightning, static electricity, or radio waves. To protect your equipment, we recommend that you install surge protectors.

Our goal is to insure that you are satisfied with your purchase. We will give top priority service to all warranty requests.

The foregoing obligations are in lieu of all other obligations and liabilities including negligence and all warranties, of merchantability or otherwise, expressed or implied in fact or by law, and state our entire and exclusive liability and buyer's exclusive remedy for any claim of damages in connection with the sale or furnishings of goods or parts, their design, suitability for use, installation or operation, we will in no event be liable for any special or consequential damages whatsoever, and our liability under no circumstances will exceed the contract price for the goods for which liability is claimed

WARRANTY on Printed Products:

Paragon Print Systems, Inc., The Barcode Factory products are manufactured by skilled craftsmen using the finest materials, equipment and modern techniques available. Close personal attention is given to your order to assure it conforms to your copy, specifications, and our own high standards. Your order is inspected at every stage of the production process to assure the desired results. We, therefore, warrant all merchandise to be free from defects in material and workmanship and will promptly replace any unsatisfactory items. Printing errors on proofs approved by the customer are the customer's responsibility. We do not guarantee exact color matches, unless a color match proof is requested prior to manufacture. Claims must be made within 30 days after shipment. Warranty is limited to replacement of defective merchandise returned and approval by the factory is required prior to return of merchandise. If merchandise is distributed by customer and is not returnable to factory, customer will be considered as having received full value, even though a defect is discovered after distribution has begun.

On imprinted and custom-printed orders, we reserve the right to ship and invoice + 10% of the quantity ordered and will invoice accordingly for any such overage or underage. Custom products may only be returned if Paragon has made an error.

Service Contracts:

Paragon Print Systems, Inc offers on-site repair and depot repair contracts anywhere in North America. Contact us for details. Service contracts cover unlimited labor and parts, (excluding print heads), and two preventative service calls on-site, (or depot if a depot contract). Contracts are available for all printers, data-collection devices, and ID Card Systems.

Our goal is to offer our customers the best commercial grade equipment available, at the prices that make our products an outstanding value. Our professional staff is available to review your requirements before you order. In the event that your needs change, or you did not understand the features of the equipment that was purchased, we will make every effort to satisfy your requirements. Prior to returning any purchased item, you are requested to contact our Customer Service Department or your BarcodeFactory.com sales representative with details of your request. Returned items purchased within thirty (30) days are eligible for refund, less 15% of the original purchase price, excluding shipping. Opened software items are non-returnable. All items must be complete and returned in resale condition and in original packaging. The dollar amount of the refund may be reduced if the items are not returned with original contents and original shipping containers, as the containers will have to be replaced.

Return Policy for OEM Stock Labels and Ribbons and Barcode Factory Brand Labels and Ribbons: OEM labels and ribbons from Zebra, Intermec, Datamax, Avery, Cognitive, Monarch, Sato and all other OEM providers are non-returnable due to the fact that the manufacturer will not accept returns. It is their policy. If you are unsure of the stock item number or size of your label or ribbon, or type, (thermal transfer vs. direct thermal) please contact us. We will be glad to assist you in finding the correct label and ribbon size for your printer. We can also send out a free sample for most part numbers.

Barcode Factory branded labels and ribbons may be non-returnable depending on the part number. Paragon offers free samples on all Barcode Factory brand labels and ribbons to insure you are ordering the correct product. Please contact Paragon if you are unsure of what size, type of label or ribbon you require.

Return Authorization: Obtain a return authorization number from us either by phone or email. Any equipment received without a return authorization number will not be accepted.

Low Price Guarantee:

In the event you find a competitor's price that's lower than you find on BarcodeFactory.com, we would like the opportunity to win your business. We offer superior products and service and we will guarantee the lowest possible price. Please provide the following:

The competitor must be a legitimate Internet retailer of barcode equipment and supplies and have the item and price published on its own Web site. The item must be identical in stock and priced accurately. (We won't consider out-of-stock or special order items.) The price can be derived from quotes or volume/quantity discounts. We would require a copy of the written quote. You must bring the competitor's price to our attention prior to ordering from us. Please complete the form on our "Our Low Price Guarantee" page.

$30 Minimum Order Value:

Minimum Order Value is $30.00 (USD, excluding shipping and handling costs). For orders less than $30.00, the customer may choose to process the order, and a non-refundable surcharge will be added to the order to equal the $30.00 minimum. We are happy to discuss specialized or long-term product/service requirements, orders or agreements at any time, and customers are encouraged to call us at 1-888-237-8525 and speak directly with a BarcodeFactory.com Customer Service Representative. (BarcodeFactory.com Staff are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.)

Returned Checks:

When a check is returned by a bank due to insufficient funds, a stop payment order or a closed account notice is sent to the customer informing them of the returned item. A hold is placed on your account until payment is made in full on the returned item, plus any additional bank fees.

Payment Method:

Paragon accepts all major credit cards. We also can establish your company on open terms after your first order and the completion of an approved credit application. Credit applications can be downloaded at the link below or you may fax us your standard credit references including bank and at least three business references.

Resellers:

Certain products are available to resellers at special discounts. Contact us for details or price quotes. We are required by some manufactures to provide products only to end users and we will fully comply with these requirements. We will not sell Zebra Technologies or Symbol Technologies equipment knowingly to a reseller.

International Shipments/Right of Refusal:

Paragon Print Systems, Inc. complies with International trade laws. We retain the right to refuse any order to remain compliant with these laws. All overseas orders will require a special freight quotation. We do not ship ID Badge Systems to any company outside of the USA borders. We also retain the right to refuse any order at the discretion of the management of Paragon Print Systems, Inc.

Price Changes:

Due to fluctuations of the manufactures prices, Paragon Print Systems, Inc. retains the right to update prices without notice. We will do our very best to meet price quotations, but if there is a change, we will contact you immediately prior to charging your account or shipping your order.

State Tax Disclaimer:

Items sold by Paragon Print Systems, Inc. and shipped to certain states may be subject to tax.

How Tax is calculated:

The amount of tax charged on your order depends on many factors including the identity of the seller, type of item or service purchased, the time and location of fulfillment, and the shipment or delivery address of your order. These factors can change between the time you place an order and when its delivery is completed. As a result, the tax calculated on your order may change; therefore, "Estimated Tax" is displayed at Check Out when confirming an order. The amounts displayed as estimated tax may then be updated later when your order is finalized and completed.

The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to or fulfilled from. However, the destination of your order's delivery will often determine if tax is applicable. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if shipped to another state. Moreover, the tax rates applied to your order may also be different for a variety of reasons, such as a shipment to a residential home versus a business address. Also, please note, the total selling price of an item will generally include item-level shipping and handling charges and item level discounts. These charges, if applied at an order level, may be allocated to the individual items in an order.

Paragon Print Systems is not required in all states to collect sales and use tax. If tax has not been calculated on your order, that does not mean that you do not have to remit use tax in your state. You need to check with your states Sales Tax Office to see if you are required to remit use tax on the items that you have purchased.

STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA

The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to.

STATE OF COLORADO

Paragon Print Systems, Inc. is not required to, and does not, collect Colorado sales or use tax. Under Colorado law, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because they were made over the internet or because a seller is not required to collect Colorado tax. Colorado law requires Colorado purchasers to review untaxed purchases and, if any tax is owed, file a Colorado use tax return and pay any tax due.

STATE OF VERMONT

Sales and Use Tax is due on certain purchases delivered or sourced to Vermont State. Vermont Tax requires a sales or use tax return to be filed and tax to be paid on nonexempt purchase made when the sales tax is not paid at the time of purchase.

WASHINGTON STATE

Sales and Use Tax is due on certain purchases delivered or sourced to Washington State. Washington requires you to file a use tax return when sales tax is not paid at the time of purchase. This message is required under the Revised Code of Washington 82.13.020(2)(a)(i).
